THE TREATMENT OF IRAQI DETAINEES: A TOWN HALL FORUM
What really caused the shocking treatment of Iraqi detainees by U.S. troops, and how can any underlying problems be eradicated? What are the short- and long-term effects of the treatment of Iraqi detainees by U.S. troops? Increasing danger to soldiers? The fomenting of further terrorism against U.S. interests around the world, and even on American soil? What about the impact on the presidential election? And what can be done to reduce the damage from this point forward? Hear from a panel of experts bringing military, humanitarian, cultural and other perspectives, and voice your own questions and concerns.
Thank you George
I was going to write a bitter denunciation of the Emperor here.
The truth is, though, that I can't manage to work up much outrage today. George II presented us last night with a stale mixture of self serving (and transparent) lies along with a large and steaming pile of nearly psychotic delusions about the world and Iraq in particular.
It showed a complete inability to learn from mistakes, indeed an inability to even recognize mistakes.
Instead of inciting rage at the man behind all this it has instead brought me to pity this poor mentally ill fool.
If you missed the speech you can
read his bizarre words for yourself.
