3,539 miles in 10 days
I made it home!
I left home on July 1st and got back here in Lafayette on the evening of the 10th. I had a wonderful, if very tiring trip.
I went first and saw Mom and Kari at Mom's place in Lakeside Arizona, stopping off at the Petrified Forest along the way. We had a nice visit, did some minor walking and took a trip up a ski lift to look at the view. We also played lots of cards and dice games. I rolled 10,000 in a single turn in the game "10,000" which is pretty rare ;-)
I then went on up to the Arches National Park. I really like the Moab Utah area and plan on making a trip there one of these days just to camp and hike around.
I ended up in Montana visiting Lora and Serenity then headed home.
I need to learn to break these trips up into more reasonable sections. Like go one place at a time... Yeah, right, like I'm going to learn something like that? Hah!
Below are a few of the photos I took on my trip, there are a couple of hundred more I didn't post, but these give a feel for where I went. You can click on the picture for a larger size.

Moab Utah, my favorite spot on the trip, I want to go back there for an extended visit soon to do some serious hiking and camping.
