Wednesday in the 6th Week of Pentecost
Today I went for a 20.8 mile bike ride. The weather was partly cloudy and warm, about 95 degrees. I rode up the Iron Horse Trail from Dublin, making a half hour rest stop at Central Park in San Ramon, where I sat at a shady picnic table and read Ephesians 1-3. Then I rode on to Sycamore Valley Road, then down Sycamore Valley. Just off of Sycamore Valley Road I made another rest stop and read Ephesians 3-6. Then I continued to Camino Tassajara and on to Crow Canyon Road. There I stopped for lunch at Garlex Pizza and had a salad bar and a diet Pepsi. After resting up I went up Crow Canyon Road to Dougherty Road, followed that to Bollinger Canyon Road and followed that back to where it meets up with Dougherty Road again and then to Home again via Amador Valley Road.
My readings in Ephesians made the trip more relaxing than it might have been otherwise, I think, maybe. :-)
