After 9/11 Everything Changed
That is the biggest lie the warmongers tell. Nothing really changed. Well not quite nothing, the United States became willing to murder as many innocents as it takes to establish a global commercial-military empire, and stopped trying to cover it with excuses and got really blatant about it. That's a bit different I suppose.
Another change is that the United States officially became a police state where you can be arrested and detained indefinitely without counsel at the whim of the emperor, that's a bit a of change, at least for white folks it's a change.
But the danger of terrorism didn't change. It was minimal then and it's minimal now. Sure there is a very slight chance you might die in a terrorist attack, but it's far more likely you will die driving to work.
For an infinitesimal risk we have tossed away morality by launching a war of world conquest.
For an infinitesimal risk we have tossed away our freedom at home.
I think if we want to reduce that already minimal risk we ought to withdraw from our mercantile and military empire and announce we will no longer interfere in the affairs of other nations, that would do more to really reduce the risk than the current terrorist recruitment campaign, oh wait that's not what they call it, they call the terrorist recruitment campaign the "war on terror."
Of course this was all
planned a decade before 9/11/01 and anyone who wants to learn about this, can, with only a bit of effort. That such large percentages of Americans simply slurp up the swill poured out by government is certainly sad, but not surprising. After all, most Americans hate
real freedom, and the attendant responsibility for your own life that must go with it, with nearly as much passion as any Islamic fundamentalist.
Peace.
