Healing for Body and Soul
O Son of God, receive me as a partaker of Your mystical supper. For not as a secret enemy do I approach, not with the kiss of Judas, but as the thief, will I confess you. Remember me, O Lord, in Your kingdom. I am not worthy, Lord, that You should come unto me, but as You were content to lodge in the stable of brute beasts, and in the house of Simon the leper, and did receive the harlot, a sinner like me, grant in a like measure to enter into the stable of my brutish soul, my defiled body, dead in sin and spiritually leprous. And inasmuch as You did not disdain the foul mouth of the harlot, when she kissed Your unpolluted feet, disdain not me a sinner, O Lord my God, but make me worthy to partake of Your most holy body and blood. And let not this participation in Your holy mysteries be a judgment upon me unto condemnation, O Lord, but unto the healing of my soul and body. For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory, now henceforth, and unto ages of ages. Amen. (

I came on this during my morning prayers in the book
"The Lord Will Answer, A Daily Prayer Catechism". What a wonderful prayer to use before the Holy Eucharist!
