GAHH!!
So, today I was on my way to San Francisco. I intended to go to the Commonwealth Club's forum on the Iraq Detainees as mentioned below.
I stopped off at 7-11 to get some gum, but they didn't have my favorite kind. I muttered and gripped and huffed off to another store. On my way I was trapped in traffic as some construction project decided that was the moment to block the main drag in Lafayette. I ended up cussing and using rude gestures... by the time I got to the other store I had missed my train to the city and was getting more upset by the second.
I got my gum and came home. Some days it just doesn't pay to go out of the house. I figure if I'm this lacking in love and charity towards my fellow man just getting to the train my reactions at the forum might not be the best.
So now I'm home and dedicating the rest of the day to repentance and prayer. At least for the part of the day I had intended for the forum anyway.
