Winecentives
Mike and I have started going to this place about a mile from the house called Winecentives. They have tastings on Friday nights and we've discovered some really great inexpensive wines the last couple of weeks :-) If we keep this up we're going to need a bigger wine rack! Maybe we should get one of those big wine cellars that keep your vino at a constant 57 degrees. Then again we drink it at a quick enough pace that maybe it won't pile up that bad.
One thing I was amazed to learn is that the new "in thing" among California wine makers is the screw top! What was once a mark of cheap swill is now accepted as a method of sealing the bottles that is superior to cork. Well I guess I've been hornswoggled! I thought a cork meant it was better stuff.
